MY ACTIONS ARE FOR THE NATIONS

I have decided to run for the presidential election because I want to give back to each and every one of you, my dear fellow citizens, confidence in you, confidence in the Gambia and in our ability to meet the challenges together and thus share this newfound trust with the rest of the world. Since independence, we have failed to resolve problems related to health, education and employment. However, at a time when a new era is dawning, we must not only resolve them but also take up the challenges, particularly those that are leading humanity to radical transformations, those that are already shaking up our lives and our preconceived ideas.

The digital revolution which forces us to rethink the different ways of producing and consuming in this living together which seems to be the challenge of a decade since 2020, is not only the European or American question, it is also an African question to which we Gambians must join and respond.

Yes, climate change and sustainable development are also Gambia’s business!

The project that I am proposing is to build with you a new Gambia, a Gambia that develops and innovates, a prosperous Gambia that protects each and every one of you, a Gambia that gives you the right to health, access to water, to electricity to thus participate together in the development of our country, a Gambia which enables you to succeed in your life so that everyone can recognize you in your rights, your duties, your responsibilities and your profits.Allied to a clear and independent policy, based on neutrality and transparency, both at the national level and in terms of foreign policy, my commitment will extend to my strong participation in ECOWAS, the AU, Common Wealth, to the EU and the UN.
